Hotel Corona Experience is a ‘feel-good story’ that lets our minds shift to the silver-lining of lockdowns. It’s an immersive simulation experience through a physical and virtual art installation, inviting the audience to “walk in the shoes” of 6 strangers from diverse backgrounds in isolation who gradually become friends. Undergoing a crisis together, humans have found ways to connect based on our shared emotions and empathy. The 6 characters in the story come from vast different walks of life, but try to find meaningful connections - their hopes and dreams and fears, what makes us feel alive, putting aside the superficial differences.

This is also a survival story of a city, which has started a step towards the long overdue systemic transformation to meet the realistic needs of the 21c society. COVID casted a light on the social issues of marginalised or under-represented members of our community. It has also gave us the pause we needed to take a new look at the world and the chance to correct course.
​
Artists for Social Change at Wisdom Within think this is the one in a century opportunity for a fresh start for a truly diverse and inclusive world. Our priorities, values, perspectives have shifted. In a way, we have a clean slate to form a completely new normal about how we treat one another, our minds and our environment.

Wisdom Within is a survivor-led, non-profit organisation that runs mental wellness workshops, nature retreats and peer support groups.
From the beginning, our mission has always been about inspiring self-love and empathy within people, while helping them grow and nurture their 'authentic self'.
​
Wisdom Within is rooted in the Japanese belief that honours nature and that humans are equal resident of this planet among all living creatures of nature. Therefore, when we look within ourselves, we're connecting to the wisdom of nature.

We want to inject joy and excitement in advocacy and public education. Our creative professionals and policy strategists work in partnership with local social justice agencies to promote shared societal goals such as diversity, equity and accessibility, health and wellness, poverty alleviation, environment by planning and executing public events, community engagements, art installations. Art connects our minds and hearts and spread visions for better future.
Shared joyful feeling creates trust, and nurtures collective courage to step up for any challenge.
